2020 Infiniti QX60 Specs

Under the bonnet of the 2020 Infiniti QX60 is a 3.5-liter V6 petrol engine. It is a reliable unit, but sadly, the only option for the luxury SUV. If Infiniti wants to keep up with competition, they will need a hybrid at the first place. Also, a high-performance version is possible. However, this is going to happen when the SUV enters the new generation.

Until this happens, the V6 is going to deliver 295 hp through a CVT transmission. The drivetrain also produces 275 lb-ft of torque and returns 22 mpg combined. Towing capacity of the premium SUV is 5,000 pounds. Front-wheel drive is standard, and buyers can opt for the AWD. This system is $200 more expensive this time. Also, drivers have in offer four different drive modes.

Hybrid Engine

With only one engine option, fans who like more power turns to other sources. In the luxury SUV class, we can find also performance-oriented models, as well as the vehicles with hybrid drivetrains. This is the major lack of the 2020 Infiniti QX60. Its main rivals are in advantage because of such powerplant. Nissan, as a leader in this segment, didn’t bring a hybrid yet. A lot of expectations are ahead of the new generation and 2021 YM.
